Keep on Truckin'

I find quite remarkable that Blackie (my Isuzu Rodeo) has completed her third 3,000+ mile road trip in nearly 3 years. That's 6,000+ highway miles more than what I expected when I got her. How much does she have left? I don't know. But she's far exceeded my expectations. She makes me SO proud. Kudo's to you Blackie. Kudo's to you... Even if you don't have any brakes left.

Road Kill

If you ever find yourself driving through Northern Arizona, I suggest taking Route 66. And when you come to Seligman, Az., I recommend stopping in at the Roadkill Cafe. It is well worth the stop.

Challenge to Viewers and Flannel Friends

Have you seen the Valentines Day special? Well if you haven't watch it. You will notice we are starting a cotten line of clothing for the non-flannel wearing person. We are coming up with saying we can put on the T-Shirts or "cotton wear" that will help entice people to become flannel wearers and experience the goodness of wearing flannel.

Do you have a slogan you think would be great for the line? Submit it and the best one could win a free T-Shirt.

Flannel Mail

Learn the truth of flannel forests and the true origin.

Ode to the Flannel

Roots from the ancient
mystical forest
Rich in lore and legend
The flannel makes it’s home
amongst us
And is friends with the creatures
of the earth.

It comes from the dwindling
Flannel Forests
The magical woods of Europe
To make its home
In our bedrooms and stores
And to give us strength to work

The flannel is soft
To the touch of our skin
But strong like the mighty oak
It comes in a myriad of
Unique designs--
Solid, checkered, and plaid.

The flannel stands
As a proud, valiant symbol
Of the hardworking American way
So stand and salute
The freedom of flannel
And long live the flannel today.
